Flying Conditions

Flying Conditions during thunderstorms may cause a little panic but can create an amazing aerial photo. St. Elmo’s fire is a bright blue or violet glow of coronal discharge, which can appear like fire in some circumstances off sharply pointed objects like an aircraft. This photo in the air was captured of St. Elmo’s fire while the aircraft was flying in a cloud. Ryan ST

 

Ryan ST vintage aircraft series  were used as sport aircraft, as well as trainers by flying schools and the military of multiple countries. The vintage airplane photos are of the Ryan STA an improved ST designed for aerobatics. The Ryan ST-A was fitted with a Menasco C4 engine of 125 hp which was 30 hp more than the first model. Around  73 antique aircraft Ryan ST-A’s were  built.

T-6 Texan

T-6 Texan has remained a popular warbird aircraft. This trainer aircraft was used by the United States Army Air Forces, United States Navy, Royal Air Force and other air forces of the British Commonwealth. Almost 15,500 T6 Texan aircraft were built. The first flight took place in 1935 and has flown as fast as 208 mph!
